"Late in October 1973, grassroots prolife leaders became concerned that January 22, 1974, might come and go without properly memorializing the Supreme Court's infamous abortion decisions and without petitioning Congress for redress. No established right-to-life organization was prepared to undertake the planning, financial and operational responsibilities for a high impact prolife March on the U.S. Capitol. But, grassroots prolifers wanted to march!

March for Life image 2 About thirty prolife veterans resolved themselves into a committee and began making plans for the first March for Life. On January 22, 1974, the first March for Life was held on the West Steps of the Capitol. An estimated 20,000 committed prolife Americans rallied that day on behalf of our preborn brothers and sisters. In 1974, the March for Life was incorporated as a non-profit, non-partisan, non-sectarian organization. Our numbers have gradually risen through the years to over 200,000 despite reduced numbers from the snow in 2000 and the terrible 9/11 attacks just months before the March 2002. These growing numbers give testimony to the increasing ranks of prolife Americans and to the importance of the March's work."

"What if you had a film in your hands that had the power to save someone else's life?

The motion picture masterpiece, Bella, has gained incredible accolades. Rated the #1 movie of 2007 by the New York Times Reader's Poll, Yahoo!, Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, and MovieGuide, it has also gone on to win several major highly coveted film festivals, including the People's Choice Award at the Toronto Film Festival and the Crystal Heart Award at the Toronto Film Festival. Personalities as diverse as Rick Warren and Rosie O'Donnell both picked Bella as their top film for 2007. Yet, of all the awards and accolades, none is more significant than what the filmmakers call their 'Living Oscars.'" (continued - Bella Hero Tab)

Knights of Columbus image 1 Knights of Columbus
http://www.kofc.org/

"Thanks to the efforts of Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary's Church in New Haven and some of his parishioners, the Connecticut state legislature on March 29, 1882, officially chartered the Knights of Columbus as a fraternal benefit society. The Order is still true to its founding principles of charity, unity and fraternity.

The Knights was formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works.

The history of the Order shows how the foresight of Father Michael J. McGivney, whose cause for sainthood is being investigated by the Vatican, brought about what has become the world's foremost Catholic fraternal benefit society. The Order has helped families obtain economic security and stability through its life insurance, annuity and long-term care programs, and has contributed time and energy worldwide to service in communities.

The Knights of Columbus has grown from several members in one council to more than 13,000 councils and 1.7 million members throughout the United States, Canada, the Philippines, Mexico, Poland, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Panama, the Bahamas, the Virgin Islands, Cuba, Guatemala, Guam and Saipan."

The OVerus Organization image 1 The OVerus Organization

OVerus is the first Christ-centered certification mark in history. This seal of approval identifies brands that respect Christian values. Certification requirements include respect for life, respect for one-man one-woman marriage, and points that Jesus outlined (four times) in the Judgment of Nations: feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, care for the sick, invite a stranger in, and visit those in prison. The OVerus Organization image 2

If you are a shopper, OVerus enables you to easily choose brands that respect you and your values--just look for the logo.

If you are a business, OVerus enables you to reach about 173.4 Million Christians in the United States, about 3/4 of the United States population. How else can you so immediately and effectively appeal to so many people?

The OVerus Organization is responsible for administration and oversight of the OVerus emblem. As a Christ-centered marketing and advertising company, we are committed to winning business for certified brands; however, the ultimate purpose and rationale is to conform to the Divine Will, as expressed by Jesus Christ.

Priests for Life image 1 Priests for Life
http://www.priestsforlife.org/

Imagine the vast structure of the Catholic Church. In the United States alone, we have over 19,000 parishes, 9,000 schools, and 50,000 priests. If those priests can infuse that vast structure with clear, vigorous, and compassionate pro-life teaching and action, things would be vastly different.

The Church is the only institution that has a Divine guarantee that it will prevail over the culture of death. "The gates of hell will not prevail against it," the Lord Himself said (Mt.16:18). Those gates of hell cannot withstand the power of heaven. The gates of death fall in the presence of eternal life. Sin melts in the presence of saving grace. Falsehood collapses in the presence of living truth. These are the tools with which Christ has equipped His Church.

To fully exercise those gifts and apply those tools to the specific problems of abortion and euthanasia, therefore, does not so much require more structure as it does more spirit, more awareness, more courage, and more determination to use both the means and the opportunities we already have.

That is what Priests for Life is all about. From the heart of the Church, it is a movement of priests seeking to help the rest of the Church to use her full strength against the most devastating attacks on human life in our day. Priests for Life embraces the consistent ethic of life as it is explained in the Bishop's Pastoral Plan for Pro-Life Activities: A Reaffirmation (1985).

Rachel's Vineyard image 1 Rachel's Vineyard

Rachel's Vineyard weekends for healing after abortion are offered throughout the year in locations across the United States and Canada, with additional sites in Portugal, Australia and New Zealand. We also offer a 13-week support group model for Rachel's Vineyard. Rachel's Vineyard is a ministry of Priests for Life.

The program is an opportunity to examine your abortion experience, identify the ways that the loss has impacted you in the past and present, and helps to acknowledge any unresolved feelings that many individuals struggle with after abortion. Because of the emotional numbness and secrecy that often surrounds an abortion experience, conflicting emotions both during and after the event may remain unresolved. These buried feelings can surface later and may be symptoms of post abortion trauma.

Married couples, mothers, fathers, grandparents and siblings of aborted children, as well as persons who have been involved in the abortion industry have come to Rachel's Vineyard in search of peace and inner healing. The weekend is a lot of work but yields a fruitful harvest for all who are willing to labor there.

Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary image 1 Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Our Divine Saviour commanded His apostles: "Going, therefore, teach ye all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost," adding that "He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be condemned." Since then the Church has never lacked heroic men and women who have taken this command literally, despite the suffering and hardship involved, sacrificing even their lives for the love of God and the salvation of their neighbor.

At the present time the need is greater than ever to form apostles who will make known the simple truths necessary for salvation, while opposing the humanistic and masonic ideas spewed out by the devil on the world today. We pray that Mary Immaculate will show her compassion on the world by forming many such apostles, who shall with the pure intention of the glory of god and the salvation of souls, go wheresoever the Holy Ghost shall call them leaving behind them, where they have been, nothing but the gold of charity which is the fulfillment of the whole law.

We exist first and foremost to glorify God. Through the grace of God, we stand for the protection of human life from the moment of fertilization to natural death. Abortion is the act of killing a human person and it is always wrong without exceptions.

We are committed to establishing a culture of life, and bringing light to a generation covered by darkness. We believe that the only true way to end abortion is to turn hearts to Christ. Though it is important for the unjust laws to change, we must first turn the hearts of our nation. Stand True image 2

We are committed to educate, equip and activate young people to stand up and be a voice for their generation. Until the silent cries of innocent children are finally heard, we will raise our voices, shine our lights, we will Stand True.

Thine Eyes image 1 Thine Eyes
http://www.thineeyes.org/

For Steve Sanborn, the last straw came the morning after the 2008 March for Life. The night before had been bad enough. Though the annual rally had drawn upwards of 250,000 from all over the U.S. and elsewhere to Washington D.C.'s National Mall for a happy, even joyous, day of speeches, songs, and prayer and socializing, the coverage in the national news media was exactly zero.

In the next day's newspapers, the event had again been virtually ignored. What coverage there was gave virtually equal billing to tiny knots of pro-choice counter-rallies. "it was offensive," says Sanborn, a public relations consultant and fundraiser for a Kansas City nonprofit. "It was insane. It was unfair. I just got worked up."

And worked up he stayed: as in staying the course through the instigation and production of a documentary film, Thine Eyes: A Witness to the March for Life, which pays less attention to the speechifying in order to focus on the ordinary, but highly diverse collection of Americans who filled the streets of the nation's capital in January's March for Life... It provides information about pre-natal development and pregnancy in a visual form for people to process without cumbersome words or confrontation. The "Truth Booth" is factual, scientific, creative, gentle and informative in its content presentation, allowing all age groups to comprehend our early development with clarity. It is simply pictures of the developing child, not a provocation for controversy. Truth Booth image 2

Truth Booth Kiosk Display System The Truth Booth kiosk display system is a self contained unit that resides on a shopping mall's kiosk, cart or Retail Merchandising Unit (RMU). Its purpose is to display ultrasound video footage and fetal development information using one or two (back-to-back) TV monitors. The TVs are protected by Plexiglas. This is ideal for large venues such as shopping malls. The system features all-steel construction, one or two 32" LCD TVs, powder-coat finish, graphics, battery backed DVD player and a system timer.
